Findem vs SeekOut Pricing and AI Screening Compared

SeekOut publishes a price and Findem does not. SeekOut Recruit Core is $149 a month paid annually or $179 monthly; Findem's only list price is a $25,000 AWS Marketplace license, and Vendr's medians are $20,000 and $58,000 a year. Short answer: SeekOut is the one you can price before a demo. Its Recruit Core plan is $149 a month paid annually up front ($1,788 a year) or $179 month to month, with a 14-day trial and no card. Findem publishes no price on its own site; its only list price is a $25,000 12-month Talent License on AWS Marketplace, and Vendr's buyer data puts the median Findem contract at $58,000 a year against $20,000 for SeekOut. Both are sourcing platforms first. Neither reads your inbound applicants on its entry offer.

So the choice usually comes down to budget and team shape. SeekOut starts small and scales by seat. Findem sells one annual platform contract to talent teams at mid-size and large companies and has started pricing newer products per candidate. We read SeekOut's pricing page, Findem's AWS Marketplace listing, both vendors' product pages and Vendr's listings for this comparison, and every figure below says where it came from.

Findem vs SeekOut pricing

SeekOut is the rare sourcing vendor with a number on the page. Recruit Core costs $149 a month when paid annually up front, which is $1,788 a year, or $179 on month-to-month billing. It includes unlimited search, 500 contacts and 1,000 exports a month, and the feature table shows three seats, even though the plan card describes it as a plan for individual recruiters. Above Core, the Sourcing, Sourcing plus Integration and Full Recruiting Funnel tiers are all custom and billed annually, with per-seat allowances of 750 contacts and 5,000 exports. Vendr reports a median SeekOut contract of $20,000 a year across 65 purchases, ranging from $5,820 to $54,920, with an average saving of 16 percent against the first quote.

Findem is closed on its own site. Every call to action is a demo request, and the only list price anywhere is Findem, Inc.'s AWS Marketplace listing: a Talent License at $25,000 for 12 months covering full-funnel recruiting, with usage beyond the contract billed at $0.01 per unit. Vendr's median Findem contract is $58,000 a year, with a range from $7,225 to $94,840. Findem's newer Intelligent Job Post is priced differently again: you pay for each candidate you unlock and nothing for the rest. That per-candidate rate is not published. The full source-by-source breakdown is on our Findem pricing page, and the SeekOut tier table is on SeekOut pricing.

How Findem search differs from SeekOut search

Both products exist to find people who did not apply. The difference is how you ask. Findem is built around attributes: you describe the person in terms of experience, skills, company stages and career moves, and the platform builds matches from its enriched data. Findem says its Intelligent Job Post draws on more than 850 million profiles from over 100,000 sources. SeekOut runs a more familiar search-and-filter model across more than 1 billion profiles, with 30 or more filters on Core and inferred security clearance, diversity filters and SSO on the Sourcing tier.

In practice, recruiters who like building Boolean strings and adjusting filters by hand tend to be productive in SeekOut on day one. Talent teams that want the system to propose the profile of a good hire, then keep a CRM and analytics on top of it, lean toward Findem. Both vendors also sell talent analytics as part of the larger contract. If the question you actually need answered is about your own hiring data, such as time to fill by location or pass-through rate by source, an AI data analyst that answers plain-English questions over your own database can work from an ATS export without a sourcing contract attached.

Does Findem or SeekOut screen inbound applicants?

Only at the top of each price list. SeekOut's feature table shows a dash for inbound evaluation and AI screening on Core, lists it as an add-on on Sourcing and Sourcing plus Integration, and includes it only on Full Recruiting Funnel. That product, SeekOut Sam, evaluates inbound applicants and runs an AI-led screening interview, with explainable results and audit trails. Findem's Screening Agent runs AI phone screens and returns a summary, transcript and score, and its Intelligent Job Post adds an AI screening interview and assessment before a masked slate. Both are sold through early access or a sales conversation.

That matters because the most common reason a recruiting team looks at either vendor is volume. If 300 people applied to a role and nobody has read them, a sourcing contract adds more names to a pile that is already unread. The cheaper fix is a screening layer on the applications you already have. Prescreener reads every inbound resume, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, scores role-fit and ranks the pile with a written reason for each candidate, from $199 a month or $99 a month billed yearly. See how that works at volume on bulk resume screening.

What to ask each vendor before you sign

  • SeekOut: how many seats Core really includes (the plan card and feature table disagree), the price of the AI inbound screening add-on on your tier, and whether contact and export allowances pool across seats.
  • Findem: whether your quote is the AWS Talent License or a direct contract, what counts as a usage unit at $0.01, and the per-candidate unlock price if Intelligent Job Post is included.
  • Both: the renewal cap. Vendr's range for each vendor spans roughly ten times or more from low to high, which tells you how much of the price is negotiated rather than listed.

Frequently asked questions

Is Findem more expensive than SeekOut?

Usually, yes. Vendr's buyer data puts the median Findem contract at $58,000 a year and the median SeekOut contract at $20,000. Findem's only list price is $25,000 a year on AWS Marketplace, while SeekOut's Recruit Core starts at $1,788 a year paid up front. Large SeekOut deals can still exceed small Findem ones; both ranges overlap.

Does SeekOut have a free trial?

Yes. SeekOut offers 14 days of full access to Recruit Core with no credit card required. Findem does not advertise a trial on its site or its AWS Marketplace listing, though it has made some agents in Findem Studio free to try since September 2026.

Can Findem or SeekOut rank the applicants who already applied?

Only on premium offers. SeekOut includes inbound evaluation and AI screening on its Full Recruiting Funnel tier and sells it as an add-on on the Sourcing tiers, with none on Core. Findem's Screening Agent and Intelligent Job Post screen candidates but are in early access through sales. A dedicated screening layer ranks inbound applicants without either contract.
