SeekOut pricing: SeekOut AI pricing, the $149 Recruit Core plan, and what AI inbound screening costs
SeekOut publishes exactly one rate. Its pricing page lists SeekOut Recruit Core at $149 a month, paid annually and up front ($1,788 a year), or $179 a month billed monthly, with a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card and no contract. The three tiers above it, Recruit Sourcing, Sourcing + Integration and Full Recruiting Funnel, all say Custom and Book a demo, billed annually.

The detail most SeekOut pricing articles miss is where the AI screening sits. SeekOut's own feature table marks AI Inbound Screening as unavailable on Core, a paid add-on on the two middle tiers, and included only on Full Recruiting Funnel. For a team contract, the best public anchor is Vendr's buyer data: a median SeekOut purchase of $20,000 a year, in a range of $5,820 to $54,920 across 65 purchases. Below is every source graded, what each tier includes, what SeekOut Sam does with your applicants, and what to get in writing.
Why it works
What a published screening price changes for a team pricing SeekOut
Screening without the top tier
SeekOut includes AI inbound screening only on its highest, quote-only tier. Prescreener reads and ranks every inbound applicant on all three published plans, from $199 a month for the account.
Built for the pile you already have
SeekOut is strongest at finding people who have not applied. If the problem is 300 applicants nobody has read, Prescreener reads every one against your criteria and ranks them with written reasons.
Month to month
No annual prepayment and no demo before you see a number. Run it on one requisition, and if it does not save your recruiters time, stop.
What it handles
Parsed, scored and ranked on autopilot
Prescreener reads every inbound resume, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, asks the screening questions you set, scores role-fit against consistent criteria, and ranks the applicant pile so your recruiters review the top matches first.
- Reads 100 percent of inbound resumes as each application arrives
- Applies your knockout and eligibility rules identically to every applicant
- Scores role-fit with the written evidence behind each placement
- Ranks the whole pile so recruiters open the strongest matches first
- Runs alongside Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or any ATS you already use
- Published monthly pricing per account, not per recruiter seat
- Never auto-rejects: it ranks and flags, and a recruiter decides
- Bias-audited to support EEOC standards and NYC Local Law 144
Why Prescreener
One step that screens the whole inbound pile
Not a full ATS, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Parse, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the criteria you already hire on.
Reads every resume
Prescreener parses every inbound application, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, and asks the screening questions you set. Applicants consent and are told AI is screening their application, so no qualified person sits in a backlog for days.
Scores role-fit consistently
Every applicant is scored against the same criteria, with a transparent reason on each candidate, so the pile is compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited to support EEOC standards and NYC Local Law 144.
Ranks the pile
The strongest matches rise to the top of a ranked pile your recruiters review first. Prescreener never auto-rejects, it ranks and flags candidates for review, and your team makes every decision.
In depth
SeekOut pricing, source by source and tier by tier
How much does SeekOut cost?
For the entry plan, $149 a month. SeekOut Recruit Core is the only tier with a price on seekout.com: $149 a month paid annually and up front, which is $1,788 a year, or $179 a month on monthly billing. SeekOut advertises the annual option as saving $360 a year, which matches the arithmetic ($179 times 12 is $2,148). The 14-day free trial gives full access to Recruit Core with no credit card and no contract commitment.
Above Core, SeekOut will not publish a number. Recruit Sourcing is per-seat pricing that "adjusts with volume", Sourcing + Integration is packaged to team size, and Full Recruiting Funnel is fully configurable with volume-based pricing available. All three are billed annually and start with a demo. SeekOut's FAQ says it offers volume discounts and custom pricing based on team size, hiring volume and product requirements.
The strongest outside number is Vendr's. Its SeekOut page shows a median buyer paying $20,000 a year, across 65 purchases, in a range of $5,820 to $54,920, with buyers saving 16 percent on average off the first quote. Vendr also publishes seat-band estimates (roughly $15,000 to $35,000 a year for 1 to 5 seats and $40,000 to $90,000 for 6 to 15), which are useful for a sanity check but are Vendr's modelling, not SeekOut's rate card.
Discount the "$10,000 to $30,000 per seat" figure you will find in several competitor articles. It is presented as a budgeting band, not a sourced price, and it does not sit comfortably with Vendr's own $20,000 median for a whole contract. Treat it as an upper-bound guess for enterprise seats, not a quote.

SeekOut pricing plans: what each tier includes
SeekOut sells SeekOut Recruit in four tiers, and each adds something you cannot buy below it. Recruit Core is self-serve and aimed, in SeekOut's words, at "individual recruiters getting started": unlimited AI search across 1B+ profiles, 30+ filters, 500 contact credits and 1,000 exports a month, email integration with send-on-behalf, AI multi-step campaigns and talent pool insights. The feature table on the same page lists 3 seats included on Core, which does not quite square with the solo framing on the plan card, so confirm the seat count before you pay for a year up front.
Recruit Sourcing adds 750 contacts and 5,000 exports a month per seat, custom and inferred power filters, inferred security clearance, advanced diversity filters, SSO and a dedicated customer success manager. Sourcing + Integration adds the ATS connection: rediscovery of past applicants and silver medalists, unified search across the 1B+ external profiles and your ATS, recruiter usage reports, messaging analytics and market intelligence. Full Recruiting Funnel adds inbound applicant evaluation and AI screening, job-specific rubrics, agentic AI workflows, custom integrations, custom SLAs and white-glove implementation.
Two rows in the table decide most buying decisions. ATS integration does not exist on Core or Recruit Sourcing, so a team that wants SeekOut to see its own applicant database needs at least Sourcing + Integration. And AI Inbound Screening is not available on Core at all.
| Tier | Price | Contacts / exports a month | ATS integration | AI Inbound Screening |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recruit Core | $149/mo annual, $179 monthly | 500 / 1,000 | No | Not available |
| Recruit Sourcing | Custom, per seat, annual | 750 / 5,000 per seat | No | Paid add-on |
| Sourcing + Integration | Custom, annual | 750 / 5,000 per seat | Yes | Paid add-on |
| Full Recruiting Funnel | Custom, annual, volume pricing | Custom | Yes, plus custom integrations | Included |

SeekOut AI pricing: what AI inbound screening costs
SeekOut does not publish a price for it. Its pricing FAQ describes AI inbound screening as evaluating and scoring "every applicant against your role rubric, so recruiters start from a ranked shortlist", and states that it is "an add-on for Team and Enterprise plans and included at the highest tier". The feature table says the same thing in grid form: dash on Core, Add-on on Recruit Sourcing and Sourcing + Integration, Included on Full Recruiting Funnel. So the real entry price for SeekOut reading your applicants is a custom contract plus an add-on, or the top tier.
The product behind it is SeekOut Sam, launched as SeekOut's inbound evaluation and AI screening solution. Sam reads each applicant's resume against role-specific criteria and surfaces the strongest matches with plain-language explanations, and it can invite candidates to a structured, AI-led screening interview whose transcript, summary and score land with the recruiter. SeekOut says Sam connects to your ATS, evaluates applicants as they apply, never auto-rejects, avoids protected-class signals, keeps audit trails for EEOC and OFCCP reviews, and is SOC 2 Type II audited.
That is a serious product, and for an enterprise already buying SeekOut for sourcing it may be the right add-on. The pricing problem is for everyone else. A team whose bottleneck is the inbound pile, not a shortage of candidates, has to buy a sourcing platform first to get the screening. Candidate scoring software built for the inbound pile prices that job on its own.
| Screening task | SeekOut Sam | Prescreener |
|---|---|---|
| Reads each inbound resume | Yes, against role-specific criteria | Yes, every resume as it arrives |
| Output | Ranked shortlist with plain-language match explanations | A role-fit score and full ranking, with written evidence per criterion |
| AI screening interview | Yes, structured AI-led screen with transcript and score | Screening questions; no AI voice or video interview |
| Knockout and eligibility rules | Job-specific rubrics | Applied identically to every applicant |
| Which plan | Add-on on two custom tiers; included only on Full Recruiting Funnel | Every plan |
| Published price | Not published | $199, $499 and $1,290 a month |

SeekOut cost per month: one Core plan against a team contract
For one Core account the arithmetic is simple: $149 a month if you prepay the year, $179 if you pay monthly. Both give you search, outreach and exports, and neither gives you ATS integration or AI screening of applicants.
For a team, divide Vendr's figures by twelve. The $20,000 median is about $1,667 a month, and the $54,920 high end is about $4,577. Those are contract totals across seats and modules, so the useful question when a quote arrives is which modules push it above the median: extra seats, the ATS integration tier, AI Inbound Screening, or healthcare search, which SeekOut lists as an add-on below Full Recruiting Funnel.
| Scenario | Monthly | Yearly | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| SeekOut Recruit Core, annual | $149 | $1,788 | Published rate, paid up front |
| SeekOut Recruit Core, monthly | $179 | $2,148 | Published rate |
| SeekOut, typical team contract | About $1,667 | $20,000 | Vendr median, divided by 12 |
| SeekOut, upper end of Vendr's range | About $4,577 | $54,920 | Vendr high, divided by 12 |
| Prescreener Starter | $199 | $2,388 | Published rate, whole account |
| Prescreener Growth | $499 | $5,988 | Published rate, whole account |
| Prescreener Scale | $1,290 | $15,480 | Published rate, whole account |

What should you get in writing in a SeekOut quote?
Because everything above Core is custom, the quote is only as good as its scope. Five items are worth pinning down before you sign.
First, the seat count and what each seat carries, since contact credits and exports are counted per seat on the custom tiers. Second, the tier and the add-ons by name: AI Inbound Screening and healthcare search are add-ons below the top tier, and ATS integration only starts on Sourcing + Integration. Third, the term: all custom tiers are billed annually, and Vendr reports that multi-year prepayment is common and lowers the per-seat rate, so ask for a renewal cap in writing. Fourth, what happens to unused contact credits at month end. Fifth, if screening applicants is the real need, ask for the AI Inbound Screening price on its own and compare it with a dedicated screening tool.
| Ask for | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Seat count and per-seat allowances | Contacts and exports are metered per seat above Core |
| Tier and add-ons line by line | AI Inbound Screening is an add-on except on Full Recruiting Funnel |
| Term, prepayment and renewal cap | Custom tiers bill annually; multi-year deals are common |
| Credit rollover | 500 to 750 contacts a month per seat is the unit you actually consume |
| Standalone screening price | The fairest comparison if the inbound pile is the problem |

SeekOut vs Prescreener: which fits a US hiring team?
They solve different ends of the funnel. SeekOut is built for teams that need more candidates: technical, cleared or healthcare roles where the right person is not applying and a recruiter has to find them among a billion profiles and run the outreach. If that is your bottleneck, SeekOut's search depth and its cleared-talent and healthcare data are the reason to pay for it, and Core at $149 a month is an inexpensive way to test it.
Prescreener fits when the pipeline is already full. A role that draws 250 applications, a recruiter who reads the first 30, and qualified people buried under the rest: Prescreener reads every one, applies your knockout and eligibility rules the same way to everyone, scores role-fit with the evidence behind each score, and ranks the pile, with a person making every decision. Plans are $199, $499 or $1,290 a month for the account on the Prescreener pricing page, month to month.
If SeekOut is on a shortlist with hireEZ, our SeekOut vs hireEZ comparison covers the head-to-head, including which plan of each scores inbound applicants. The hireEZ pricing page covers the closest sourcing rival, the Eightfold AI pricing breakdown covers the enterprise talent-intelligence option, and the ATS pricing comparison lists every vendor that publishes a rate.
