Teamtailor pricing and what Teamtailor costs a year for a US hiring team

Teamtailor does not publish a price. Its pricing page says "Let us give you a quote", lists unlimited job postings, unlimited users, customer support for all users and over 250 features, and routes every visitor to a quote form that asks for company size. There are no plan names on the page and no self-serve trial. The only dollar figures in circulation come from Vendr's marketplace guide, which puts small teams at about $300 to $400 a month, and from competitor blogs quoting a floor of about $229 a month.

One question the quote does not need to answer is the price of the AI. Teamtailor's help center lists Co-pilot, which includes Candidate screening, among the add-ons that come at no additional cost. What Co-pilot screening returns is a check, a cross or a dash per criterion, sortable by criteria met, not a score or a ranked shortlist. Below is every source graded, the add-ons that do carry a charge, and what a year of Teamtailor costs next to a screening layer with a published price.

Why it works

What a published screening price changes for a team pricing Teamtailor

A number before the demo

Teamtailor quotes every account. Prescreener publishes $199, $499 and $1,290 a month, or half that billed yearly, so the budget line exists before the first sales call.

A ranked pile, not a checklist

Co-pilot marks each criterion met or missed. Prescreener scores role-fit and orders the whole pile with a written reason under every candidate, so recruiters know where to start.

Keep the ATS you have

If your careers site already runs on Teamtailor, keep it. Prescreener reads the inbound resumes alongside it, month to month, with no onboarding fee to model.

What it handles

Parsed, scored and ranked on autopilot

Prescreener reads every inbound resume, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, asks the screening questions you set, scores role-fit against consistent criteria, and ranks the applicant pile so your recruiters review the top matches first.

  • Reads 100 percent of inbound resumes as each application arrives
  • Applies your knockout and eligibility rules the same way to every applicant
  • Scores role-fit with the written evidence behind each placement
  • Ranks the pile so recruiters open the strongest matches first
  • Runs alongside Teamtailor, Greenhouse, Workable or any ATS you already use
  • Published monthly and yearly prices, no onboarding fee

Why Prescreener

One step that screens the whole inbound pile

Not a full ATS, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Parse, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the criteria you already hire on.

Reads every resume

Prescreener parses every inbound application, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, and asks the screening questions you set. Applicants consent and are told AI is screening their application, so no qualified person sits in a backlog for days.

Scores role-fit consistently

Every applicant is scored against the same criteria, with a transparent reason on each candidate, so the pile is compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited to support EEOC standards and NYC Local Law 144.

Ranks the pile

The strongest matches rise to the top of a ranked pile your recruiters review first. Prescreener never auto-rejects, it ranks and flags candidates for review, and your team makes every decision.

In depth

Teamtailor pricing, source by source and add-on by add-on

How much does Teamtailor cost?

Teamtailor does not say. teamtailor.com/en-us/pricing is a quote form headed "Let us give you a quote", and the page lists what every subscription includes rather than what it costs: unlimited job postings, unlimited users, support for every user, over 250 features and integration with your existing HR stack. The page footer says Teamtailor serves more than 13,000 companies in over 90 countries.

Every number you will find elsewhere is secondhand. Vendr's marketplace guide gives list-price bands of about $300 to $400 a month for small teams, $600 to $1,200 for mid-size teams and $1,500 a month and up for larger organizations, plus onboarding fees of $1,000 to $5,000 and annual escalators of 3 to 8 percent at renewal. Vendr does not show a median contract or a deal count for Teamtailor, so treat those bands as a guide, not as observed prices. Competitor blogs add a floor of about $229 a month and a ceiling of about $72,000 a year, and one cites a Vendr average of $16,500 to $17,000 a year that Vendr's current page does not show.

Is Teamtailor priced per user, per job or per employee?

Not per user. Teamtailor includes unlimited users on every subscription, which is the main reason it can look cheap next to seat-priced systems once a hiring team passes ten people. Its quote form asks for company size, and its own site splits the product into small to midsize (up to 1,000 employees) and enterprise (1,000 or more), which points to headcount as the main input.

Vendr's guide describes pricing that scales with the number of active job openings. Teamtailor itself advertises unlimited job postings, so the two descriptions do not line up cleanly. The practical answer is to ask for the pricing basis in writing: whether the quote moves with employee count, with open roles, or with both, and what happens to the price when you acquire a location or double hiring for a season. That one clause decides what the second year costs.

Pricing input What Teamtailor says What third parties say
Users Unlimited on every subscription Agree, not seat-priced
Job postings Unlimited Vendr: bands follow active openings
Company size Quote form asks for it; product split at 1,000 employees Treated as the main driver
Term Not stated Annual, 3 to 8 percent renewal escalators (Vendr)

Teamtailor add-ons, which are free and which cost extra

Teamtailor's help center keeps one list of add-on features, each switched on by a Company Admin in the Add-on feature center, and marks every one as either "No additional cost" or "Comes with an additional cost". Most of the list is free. The ones that are not are the ones mid-size and enterprise teams usually want, so they belong in the first quote rather than the renewal.

Add-on Cost according to Teamtailor Who usually needs it
Co-pilot (AI, including Candidate screening) No additional cost Any team that wants criteria checks on applicants
Interview kits, triggers, surveys, job offers, e-signature No additional cost Everyone
SSO, two-factor authentication, restricted access No additional cost Security reviews
Internal recruitment, LinkedIn RSC, webhooks No additional cost (enterprise group) Larger teams
SMS Additional cost Hourly and high-volume hiring
Onboarding Additional cost Teams replacing a separate onboarding tool
Audit log May come with an additional cost Regulated employers
BI-Connector, Requisition Flow, enterprise calendar, job offer approvals Additional cost, activated through your contact Enterprise reporting and approvals

Is Teamtailor Co-pilot free, and does it rank candidates?

Co-pilot is free in the sense that matters for a budget: Teamtailor lists it among the add-ons with no additional cost, so AI screening is not an upgrade tier on top of the quote. A Company Admin activates it, then someone with job editing rights turns on Candidate screening under Candidate insights and sets the criteria for each job.

It does not rank. Co-pilot reads the resume, cover letter, application answers, job comments, tags and custom fields, then shows a check, a cross or a dash with reasoning for each criterion. You can sort a stage so candidates who meet the most criteria appear first, which is useful, but two candidates who both meet five of five criteria sit side by side with no ordering between them. If you need a ranked shortlist, the option in Teamtailor's integration marketplace is a third-party partner, AI Screened, which means a second vendor and a second contract. Our Teamtailor AI resume screening breakdown walks through the output in detail.

What a year of Teamtailor costs at three company sizes

The table below is arithmetic on Vendr's guide bands, not a Teamtailor price, and it is only as good as those bands. It exists because a finance lead needs an order of magnitude before a demo, and the vendor will not provide one. First-year cost includes Vendr's onboarding range; the second-year column applies the top of the 3 to 8 percent escalator.

The comparison that usually matters is not Teamtailor against another ATS. It is whether the reason you are shopping is the applicant pile itself. If your current ATS already works and recruiters are drowning in unread applications, a screening layer costs a fraction of any row below. Prescreener is $1,188 a year on Starter billed yearly, and the ATS pricing comparison lists every system that does publish a figure.

Team size (Vendr band) Monthly list band First year incl. onboarding Year two at 8 percent
Small team, a handful of openings $300 to $400 $4,600 to $9,800 $3,888 to $5,184
Mid-size, 10 to 30 openings $600 to $1,200 $8,200 to $19,400 $7,776 to $15,552
Large, dozens of openings $1,500 and up $19,000 and up $19,440 and up

What to get in writing in a Teamtailor quote

Because nothing is published, the quote is the price. The items below move the total more than the headline number does, and each is easy to settle before signature and hard to change after it.

Teamtailor vs Prescreener, which fits your hiring team?

Teamtailor is a full applicant tracking system whose real strength is employer branding: the career-site builder, candidate experience and unlimited seats for every hiring manager. If you are replacing a dated ATS and your careers page is losing applicants, that is worth a quote. Buyers comparing it with a similar European ATS should read Recruitee vs Teamtailor first, and the Teamtailor alternative page covers where each option wins.

Prescreener does one job. It reads every inbound resume, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, scores role-fit and ranks the pile with a written reason for each candidate, next to whatever ATS you run. It is the better fit when the ATS is fine and the bottleneck is the hours spent on applications that were never qualified. See how the ranking works at volume on bulk resume screening.

Good questions

Questions about teamtailor pricing

Teamtailor does not publish a monthly price; every account is quoted. Vendr's marketplace guide puts small teams at about $300 to $400 a month, mid-size teams at $600 to $1,200 and larger organizations at $1,500 and up, with onboarding fees of $1,000 to $5,000. Competitor blogs quote a floor near $229 a month without a primary source.
Yes, as far as Teamtailor's own help center goes. Its add-on list marks Co-pilot, which includes Candidate screening, as available at no additional cost, alongside interview kits, triggers and SSO. A Company Admin still has to activate it, and it returns a check or cross per criterion rather than a score or ranking.
Teamtailor's pricing page does not offer a self-serve trial. Every call to action leads to a quote or a demo. Some third-party blogs mention a 14-day trial, but Teamtailor does not advertise one. If you want to test AI ranking on your own applicants before a contract, Prescreener publishes its prices and runs month to month.
No. Every Teamtailor subscription includes unlimited users and unlimited job postings. The quote form asks for company size, and Vendr's guide describes bands that follow active job openings, so ask Teamtailor to state the pricing basis in writing before you sign.
According to Teamtailor's help center, SMS, Onboarding, the BI-Connector, Requisition Flow, the enterprise calendar and job offer approvals come with an additional cost, and Audit log may. Co-pilot, interview kits, triggers, surveys, e-signature, SSO and webhooks are listed at no additional cost.
