Vervoe pricing and Vervoe cost now that the self-serve plans are gone

Vervoe does not publish a price anymore. Its pricing page, read on October 15, 2026, describes an enterprise skills assessment platform and offers one button, Request pricing. There is no rate, no tier table, no candidate credit price and no checkout. The page sells security and governance instead: single sign-on, regional data storage, uptime and support SLAs, generative AI detection and explainable AI grading.

That is a recent change. As late as February 9, 2026, the same page listed a free trial, Pay & Go at $19 a month and Growth at $250 a month, both billed annually, with Enterprise as the only quoted tier. By May 17, 2026 the self-serve plans were gone. Capterra and other directories still show the old figures, so if you are budgeting off a review site, you are budgeting off a plan you can no longer buy.

Why it works

What a published screening price changes for a team pricing Vervoe

Rank first, test fewer

Vervoe grades what candidates do inside an assessment. Prescreener reads every resume that arrives and ranks the pile, so you send the test only to applicants who already meet the basics.

Evidence you can check

Every Prescreener score carries the resume evidence behind each criterion, written out, so a recruiter can see why one applicant sits above another before anyone is invited or declined.

A rate you can budget today

Prescreener is $199, $499 or $1,290 a month, or half that billed yearly, priced by applicant volume. No demo is needed to see the number and nobody is auto-rejected.

What it handles

Parsed, scored and ranked on autopilot

Prescreener reads every inbound resume, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, asks the screening questions you set, scores role-fit against consistent criteria, and ranks the applicant pile so your recruiters review the top matches first.

  • Reads every inbound resume the moment it arrives, on every open job
  • Applies knockout rules such as licenses, certifications, location or work authorization the same way to every applicant
  • Scores role-fit with the written evidence behind each score
  • Ranks the pile so you invite only the strongest applicants to a skills test
  • Runs beside Vervoe, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS or any ATS through a forwarding address or upload
  • Never auto-rejects: it ranks and flags, and a person decides

Why Prescreener

One step that screens the whole inbound pile

Not a full ATS, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Parse, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the criteria you already hire on.

Reads every resume

Prescreener parses every inbound application, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, and asks the screening questions you set. Applicants consent and are told AI is screening their application, so no qualified person sits in a backlog for days.

Scores role-fit consistently

Every applicant is scored against the same criteria, with a transparent reason on each candidate, so the pile is compared consistently and the scoring comes with impact ratio reports for your EEOC and NYC Local Law 144 audit work.

Ranks the pile

The strongest matches rise to the top of a ranked pile your recruiters review first. Prescreener never auto-rejects, it ranks and flags candidates for review, and your team makes every decision.

In depth

Vervoe pricing, then and now

How much does Vervoe cost?

Vervoe is quoted. The current pricing page at vervoe.com/pricing describes pricing built for skills-first hiring at scale and routes every visitor to Request pricing or a demo. It prints no annual figure, no per-candidate rate and no seat price. The FAQ on the same page talks about AI grading, ATS integrations and GDPR, and says nothing about cost.

So the honest answer is a number from a sales call, and the only published reference points are historical. The February 2026 capture of the page shows exactly what self-serve customers paid until then. Use those figures as a floor for what Vervoe considered a small account worth, not as a price you can buy today. If a vendor comparison or AI answer quotes $19 a month as Vervoe's price, it is reading a plan that no longer exists.

What the old Vervoe plans included

The February 9, 2026 capture of vervoe.com/pricing listed four tiers, priced in US dollars and excluding taxes. The structure is worth knowing because it shows how Vervoe meters usage: assessment credits for each assessment you run, and candidate credits for each candidate who takes one.

Pay & Go at $19 a month, billed $228 a year, included one assessment credit, 100 candidate credits and 10 team seats, with extra assessments at $150 each and extra candidates at $1.30 each. Growth at $250 a month, billed $3,000 a year, included 10 assessments, 1,000 candidate credits and 10 seats, and added the ATS integrations: JobAdder, Lever, Comeet, Greenhouse and Zapier. The larger ATS connectors, SmartRecruiters, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, iCIMS and Fountain, sat on Enterprise. Further down the same page, a pay-as-you-go block sold one-time candidate packs from 10 to 1,000 candidates, charged only when a candidate completed the assessment.

What the Vervoe enterprise plan covers today

The current page lists what an enterprise contract is built around: customizable assessments and question types, custom integrations, advanced AI grading, advanced generative AI detection, enterprise security with SSO, regional data storage, priority support and uptime SLAs, a team onboarding program and custom reporting. Enterprise customers can also use the API and white-label workflows to run assessments inside their own systems.

Vervoe's product menu now goes beyond testing, with chat and voice screening, interview scheduling and interviewer prep listed alongside skills, cognitive and job simulation assessments. Ask which of those modules your quote includes. Its featured customer stories are Australian employers such as Bank of Queensland, iSelect and the AFL, so a US buyer should also ask where candidate data is stored and which US ATS connectors are live rather than on the roadmap.

Does Vervoe screen resumes?

No, and it says so. The FAQ on Vervoe's pricing page states that Vervoe replaces resume screening with skills-based assessments that simulate on-the-job tasks, and that candidates are ranked automatically by how they perform. Its AI grades written, audio, video, coding and other responses, and Vervoe claims 80 percent accuracy against human graders. That is a vendor figure, not an independent audit.

The gap is the step before the test. Somebody still decides who gets invited. Inviting all 400 applicants to a 30-minute assessment spends candidate credits on people who lack the license, the work authorization or the location, and it asks every applicant for half an hour before anyone has read a line of their resume. That first cut is what bulk applicant screening handles, and our page on application scoring software shows what a defensible score should contain.

How Vervoe pricing compares with other assessment vendors

Most of Vervoe's direct rivals still print a price, which makes the move to quote-only stand out. TestGorilla publishes its tiers and Spark Hire publishes annual caps, while Criteria Corp quotes every buyer. Read the table as what each vendor tells you before a sales call. Our TestGorilla pricing and Criteria Corp pricing pages break down the two names that most often share a shortlist with Vervoe, and the ATS pricing comparison covers the systems these tools plug into.

Vendor What it publishes Reads resumes?
Vervoe Nothing since early 2026. Was $19 and $250 a month No, replaces resumes with tests
TestGorilla Core from $215, Plus from $520 a month, billed annually Scores resumes uploaded inside an assessment
Criteria Corp Nothing. Vendr median $13,225 a year No
HireVue Nothing. Quote only No, acts on what candidates complete
Prescreener $199, $499, $1,290 and $2,490 a month, half that yearly Yes, reads and ranks every resume

What to ask Vervoe before you sign

Ask how the quote is built: per candidate assessed, per assessment, per seat or per hire, and get the unit in writing. Ask whether unused candidate credits roll over or expire, what an extra candidate costs once you pass the allowance, and whether you pay for candidates who start a test or only those who finish. Ask which modules are in the price, since chat and voice screening and scheduling now sit on the same menu as assessments. Ask for the contract term and the renewal uplift cap.

Then cost the volume honestly. If you assess everyone who applies, the candidate count is your applicant count, and that is the most expensive way to run any per-candidate tool. Ranking the inbound pile first and testing only the top slice cuts that number before it reaches the meter. A flat Prescreener plan does that ranking beside whatever ATS and assessment you keep.

Good questions

Questions about vervoe pricing

Vervoe does not publish a price. Its pricing page offers a single enterprise plan behind a Request pricing button. Until early 2026 it sold Pay & Go at $19 a month ($228 a year) and Growth at $250 a month ($3,000 a year), and those are the figures review sites still quote.
No. The Pay & Go and Growth plans appear on an Internet Archive capture of vervoe.com/pricing dated February 9, 2026 and are gone from the May 17, 2026 capture and from the live page. New buyers are routed to an enterprise demo and a custom quote.
The current pricing page does not offer one. Earlier versions listed a free trial with one assessment and five candidates and no credit card. Ask for a scoped pilot on a live role instead, with the pilot price, end date and success criteria written into the order form.
No. Vervoe's own FAQ says it replaces resume screening with skills-based assessments and ranks candidates by how they perform on them. You still decide who receives the assessment, which is the step a resume screening tool handles.
Yes. Prescreener reads and ranks the resumes on a job as they arrive, so you invite only the strongest applicants to a Vervoe assessment and spend fewer candidate credits. A recruiter makes every decision. Plans start at $199 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly.
