Zoho Recruit pricing and what Zoho Recruit costs per recruiter on every plan and add-on
Zoho Recruit costs $0, $25 or $50 per recruiter per month on the Corporate HR edition when billed annually, and $25, $50 or $75 per recruiter per month on the Staffing Agency edition. Billed monthly instead, every one of those rates rises by exactly 20 percent. There is a genuine Forever Free tier, a 15-day trial, a 45-day money-back guarantee, and no forced contract. Checked against Zoho's published price data on October 5, 2026.

Those numbers are the easy part, and most articles stop there. The part that decides your bill is that Zoho Recruit sells two different products under one name, with two different price lists and two very different sets of limits. Corporate HR is for internal hiring teams and caps you at 1, 10 or 20 active jobs per recruiter license. Staffing Agency is for recruitment firms and caps you at 1, 100, 250 or 750 active jobs. Same brand, same price for the entry tier, and a 25-fold difference in how many requisitions you can run.
One more finding matters more than any of the rates if you are shopping for screening specifically. On the Corporate HR edition, AI Candidate Matching does not appear until the Enterprise tier. On the Staffing Agency edition, Pre Screening does not appear until the Professional tier. Both of those tiers cost $50 per recruiter per month billed annually. So whichever edition fits you, the cheapest Zoho Recruit plan that will actually screen a candidate for you is double the $25 entry rate that gets quoted as the price of Zoho Recruit.
Every figure below was read from Zoho's own published price data and feature comparison rather than from a summary of it, in US dollars, with the currency selector set to USD. Zoho renders its pricing client-side and offers USD, INR, EUR and GBP, so a price quoted without a stated currency is worth nothing.

Why it works
What flat, published screening pricing gets your team
Screening at the entry rate
Zoho Recruit gates candidate matching and pre-screening to its middle and top tiers. Screening is the whole product here, so it is in the plan you start on, not two tiers up.
No per-recruiter seat charge
Zoho counts active jobs per recruiter license, from 1 on Free to 20 on Corporate HR Enterprise, and the price rises with every recruiter you add. Prescreener plans scale on applicant volume instead, so adding a recruiter never raises the bill.
Keep Zoho Recruit if it works
Zoho Recruit is good value as a system of record, especially inside a Zoho One estate. Prescreener runs in front of your ATS rather than replacing it, so nothing migrates.
What it handles
Parsed, scored and ranked on autopilot
Prescreener reads every inbound resume, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, asks the screening questions you set, scores role-fit against consistent criteria, and ranks the applicant pile so your recruiters review the top matches first.
- Reads 100 percent of inbound applications on the plan you start on
- No per-recruiter seat charge and no candidate-record cap to true up
- Applies your knockout and eligibility rules identically to every applicant
- Returns the pile ranked, with written evidence behind each placement
- Runs alongside Zoho Recruit, Workable, Greenhouse or Ashby, so nothing migrates
- Never auto-rejects: it ranks and flags, and a recruiter decides
- Impact ratio reports for your EEOC and NYC Local Law 144 audit work
Why Prescreener
One step that screens the whole inbound pile
Not a full ATS, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Parse, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the criteria you already hire on.
Reads every resume
Prescreener parses every inbound application, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, and asks the screening questions you set. Applicants consent and are told AI is screening their application, so no qualified person sits in a backlog for days.
Scores role-fit consistently
Every applicant is scored against the same criteria, with a transparent reason on each candidate, so the pile is compared consistently and the scoring comes with impact ratio reports for your EEOC and NYC Local Law 144 audit work.
Ranks the pile
The strongest matches rise to the top of a ranked pile your recruiters review first. Prescreener never auto-rejects, it ranks and flags candidates for review, and your team makes every decision.
In depth
Zoho Recruit pricing, edition by edition and line by line
How much does Zoho Recruit cost?
Zoho Recruit costs $25 per recruiter per month for Standard and $50 for Enterprise on the Corporate HR edition, billed annually, with a Forever Free tier at $0. The Staffing Agency edition runs $25 for Standard, $50 for Professional and $75 for Enterprise per recruiter per month, billed annually. Pay monthly instead and each rate becomes $30, $60 or $90. Zoho advertises the annual saving as up to 16 percent, which is the same gap read from the other direction: monthly billing is 20 percent more expensive.
The table below is the Corporate HR edition, which is what you want if you are an internal HR or talent team hiring for your own company. The active job column is the one to read twice. Zoho counts active jobs per recruiter license, so a two-recruiter team on Standard gets 20 active jobs between them, not 10 each in addition to some pooled allowance.
Zoho does not force a contract, offers a 15-day free trial without a card, and backs paid plans with a 45-day money-back guarantee. That combination is unusual in this market. Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, Workday, Harver and Pinpoint publish no rate at all, and most of them offer no trial either, so Zoho Recruit is one of a small number of applicant tracking systems you can actually evaluate and budget for without a discovery call.
| Corporate HR plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Active jobs per recruiter license |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forever Free | $0 | $0 | 1 |
| Standard | $25 per recruiter a month | $30 per recruiter a month | 10 |
| Enterprise | $50 per recruiter a month | $60 per recruiter a month | 20 |

Zoho Recruit pricing plans, Staffing Agency and Corporate HR are two different products
Zoho sells Zoho Recruit in two editions and the pricing page loads on Corporate HR by default. Staffing Agency is built for recruitment and search firms placing candidates with client companies. Corporate HR is built for internal teams hiring into their own organization. They do not share a plan structure: Staffing Agency has four tiers including Free, Corporate HR has three.
The entry paid rate is identical at $25 per recruiter a month billed annually, which makes the editions look interchangeable in any table that only lists prices. They are not. Staffing Agency Standard carries 100 active jobs against Corporate HR Standard's 10. If you are an agency, that difference is the entire reason the edition exists, and picking the wrong one is the most expensive mistake available on this pricing page.
The other structural point worth knowing before you compare Zoho to anything else: Zoho charges per recruiter, not per employee and not per job slot. That scales with the size of your recruiting function rather than the size of your company. A 400-person company with two recruiters pays for two seats. Ashby, by contrast, prices on total employee headcount, so the same company would pay Ashby's band rate regardless of how many people touch the system.
| Staffing Agency plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Active jobs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 |
| Standard | $25 per recruiter a month | $30 per recruiter a month | 100 |
| Professional | $50 per recruiter a month | $60 per recruiter a month | 250 |
| Enterprise | $75 per recruiter a month | $90 per recruiter a month | 750 |

Does Zoho Recruit use AI to screen resumes, and which plan do you need?
Yes, but not on the plan most people mean when they say Zoho Recruit is cheap. On the Corporate HR edition, AI Candidate Matching is listed under Enterprise, at $50 per recruiter per month billed annually. On the Staffing Agency edition, Pre Screening is absent from Free and Standard and first appears on Professional, also $50 per recruiter per month billed annually. Whichever edition you are on, screening starts at $50 a seat, not $25.
That is a clean, checkable fact and it changes the comparison a lot. A five-recruiter team that budgeted $1,500 a year against the $25 entry rate is actually looking at $3,000 a year to get the capability it was shopping for. Still inexpensive by the standards of this market, but double the number in most articles.
Resume parsing is a separate feature from matching and it is metered by volume rather than gated by tier. On the Staffing Agency comparison, Parse Resumes runs at 250 a day on Standard, 500 a day on Professional and unlimited on Enterprise. Resume Extractor is capped at 250 a day on every paid tier. Outlook parsing runs 100 a day, 300 a day, then unlimited. Semantic Search, like Pre Screening, starts at Professional.
A daily cap is a different kind of constraint from a monthly credit pool, and for high-volume hiring it can be the more painful one. 250 resumes a day sounds generous until a job posting goes up on a Monday and 900 applications arrive in 48 hours, which is an ordinary week for a warehouse, retail or driver requisition. The cap does not bill you extra, it just leaves the queue for tomorrow.
This is the gap a dedicated screening layer fills. Prescreener reads every inbound application as it arrives, applies your knockout and eligibility rules identically to all of them, and returns the pile ranked with the written evidence behind each placement, at a flat published rate with no per-seat charge and no daily parse cap. It sits in front of Zoho Recruit rather than replacing it, so your system of record does not move.
| Capability | Cheapest Zoho Recruit plan that has it | Cost billed annually | Limit at that tier |

| Semantic Search | Professional | $50 per recruiter a month | Not published |
| Parse Resumes | Standard | $25 per recruiter a month | 250 a day |

| Parse Resumes, uncapped | Enterprise (Staffing) | $75 per recruiter a month | Unlimited |

Zoho Recruit add-on pricing, the sheet that is not on the pricing page
Zoho publishes a full add-on price list, but it lives on the plan comparison page rather than the pricing page, so it rarely turns up in articles about what Zoho Recruit costs. Every rate below is billed monthly and quoted in US dollars. These are the line items that turn a $25 seat into something else.
Two of them are worth flagging for anyone doing high-volume hiring. Additional active job openings cost $15 per 10 jobs a month, which is how a Corporate HR team pushes past its 10 or 20 job ceiling without changing edition. And mass mail at $28.50 per 750 emails a day is a real cost if you are running candidate communications at scale rather than one-to-one.
The employee referral portal is priced separately again, at $10 per license per month or $8.34 billed annually, and Zoho sells those licenses in packs of 10 only. So the smallest referral-portal purchase is 10 licenses, not one, which puts the entry cost at roughly $1,000 a year rather than $100.
None of this is hidden and none of it is unreasonable. It does mean that the honest answer to how much Zoho Recruit costs is a range that depends on your job volume and your communication volume, not the seat rate. Build the estimate from your actual requisition count and daily application volume, then add seats, rather than the other way round.
| Add-on | Published rate | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| Additional active job opening | $15 | per 10 jobs, billed monthly |
| Video interview | $12 | per job slot, billed monthly |
| Additional portal license | $6 | per portal user per month |
| Employee referral license | $10 monthly, $8.34 billed annually | per license, sold in packs of 10 only |
| Mass mail | $28.50 | per 750 mails per day |
| Workflow alerts | $5.75 | per 250 alerts |
| WebHooks | $11.40 | per 200 calls |
| Additional data backup | $11.50 | per request |
| Additional storage | $3.50 | per 5GB per month |

How much does Zoho Recruit implementation cost?
Zoho Recruit's onboarding program is called Jumpstart and it is priced openly, which almost nothing else in this market is. Basic is $1,000 for 20 hours of work over 20 days. Intermediate is $2,000 for 30 hours over 30 days. Advanced is $3,000 for 40 hours over 40 days. The pricing page links to it as Learn more without showing a figure, which is why these numbers rarely appear in Zoho Recruit cost articles.
The tiers differ by how much configuration you get rather than by what kind. Custom fields go 50, then 100, then 250. Custom views go 1, 3, 5. Profiles and roles go 2, 3, 5. Layout rules go 1, 3, 5. If your hiring process is genuinely standard, Basic is enough; if you have several business units with different approval chains, the field and layout limits on Basic will bind quickly.
Worth putting next to the alternative. Greenhouse implementation is commonly estimated at $2,000 to $8,000 by third parties, and Greenhouse does not publish that figure or its subscription rate, so those are estimates rather than quotes. Zoho publishing $1,000 to $3,000 with an hour count attached is a materially different level of transparency, and it is one of the stronger arguments for Zoho Recruit that has nothing to do with the software.
| Jumpstart tier | Price | Hours | Duration | Custom fields |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $1,000 | 20 hours | 20 days | 50 |
| Intermediate | $2,000 | 30 hours | 30 days | 100 |
| Advanced | $3,000 | 40 hours | 40 days | 250 |

Zoho Recruit pricing compared with other applicant tracking systems that publish a rate
Most of this market publishes nothing. Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Harver, Paradox, Ceipal and Pinpoint all quote privately, and so does iCIMS, as our iCIMS Recruit pricing guide details, and Pinpoint's own pricing page returns a 404. Against that, the platforms below can be budgeted without a discovery call. All figures checked in August 2026.
Read the last column before the price column. Zoho Recruit has the lowest entry rate in this table alongside Manatal, and it is the only one in the table with a genuine free tier, but the capability most people are shopping for sits one tier up from the entry price. Manatal is the outlier here: AI candidate scoring is on all three of its tiers, starting at $15 per user per month. Our Manatal vs Zoho Recruit comparison prices that difference for 2, 5 and 10 recruiter teams.
The comparison is also not apples to apples on units, and that matters more than the headline gap. Zoho and Manatal charge per recruiter seat. Ashby charges by total employee headcount. BambooHR charges per employee. CVViZ charges by active job slots. Workable charges a flat rate that steps through nine employee bands. A three-recruiter team inside a 300-person company gets wildly different answers from each of these models for exactly the same hiring workload.
| Platform | Published entry rate | Pricing unit | AI screening at that entry rate? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zoho Recruit | $0 Free, then $25 per recruiter a month | Recruiter seat | No, matching and pre-screening start at $50 |
| Prescreener | $199 a month | Flat plan | Yes, this is the product |
| Manatal | $15 per user per month | Recruiter seat | Yes, AI scoring on all three tiers |
| Bullhorn | $99 per user per month | Recruiter seat | No, Amplify AI starts on quote-only Pro |
| TestGorilla | $142 a month (Core) | Flat plan plus credits | Yes, resume scoring free on every tier |
| Breezy HR | $157 a month (Startup) | Flat plan | No, Breezy Intelligence is a paid add-on |
| Workable | $299 a month (Standard) | Flat, steps by employee band | Yes, Screening Assistant included |
| Ashby | $300 a month (Foundations, 1 to 10 staff) | Employee headcount band | Yes, credit-metered |
| Spark Hire | $335 a month (Recruit Pro) | Flat, by employee count | Yes, capped at 6,000 reviews a year |
| JazzHR | $1,000 a year (Hero) | Flat plan | No, matching starts on Plus at $3,480 |
| SmartRecruiters | $14,995 (Essential) | Not stated by vendor | No, screening starts at High Volume |
| Greenhouse | Nothing published | Quoted | Yes, Talent Matching, rate unknown |
