Apploi pricing and what Apploi costs per location, per aide and per BCBA
Apploi does not publish a price. Its pricing page has four tabs, Assisted and Senior Living, Home Health Care, Skilled Nursing and Behavioral Health, and each one names the unit your quote is built on instead of a number. Senior living and skilled nursing facilities are priced by location, home health agencies by the number of aides, and ABA practices by the number of BCBAs. Every tab ends in a quote request.

That makes the pricing unit the first thing to understand, because it decides how your bill moves when you grow. Why it works
What a published screening price changes for a care operator pricing Apploi
A number before the demo
Apploi quotes every facility and agency. Prescreener publishes $199, $499 and $1,290 a month, or half that billed yearly, so the hiring budget exists before the first call.
A price that does not grow with your census
A per-aide or per-location quote climbs every time you open a building or add caregivers. Prescreener is priced on applicants screened a month, not on staff you already employ.
Ranked applicants, not one more platform
If onboarding and scheduling already work, you do not need a new suite to fix the applicant pile. Prescreener scores and ranks every applicant with written reasons.
What it handles
Parsed, scored and ranked on autopilot
Prescreener reads every inbound resume, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, asks the screening questions you set, scores role-fit against consistent criteria, and ranks the applicant pile so your recruiters review the top matches first.
- Reads every CNA, HHA, RN, LPN and RBT application as it arrives
- Applies your knockout rules, such as an active state license, CPR or a valid driver's license, the same way to every applicant
- Scores role-fit with the written evidence behind each placement
- Ranks the pile so your scheduler calls the strongest applicants first
- Runs alongside Apploi, Workstream, Hireology or any ATS you already use
- Published monthly and yearly prices, no setup fee
Why Prescreener
One step that screens the whole inbound pile
Not a full ATS, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Parse, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the criteria you already hire on.
Reads every resume
Prescreener parses every inbound application, applies your knockout and eligibility criteria, and asks the screening questions you set. Applicants consent and are told AI is screening their application, so no qualified person sits in a backlog for days.
Scores role-fit consistently
Every applicant is scored against the same criteria, with a transparent reason on each candidate, so the pile is compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited to support EEOC standards and NYC Local Law 144.
Ranks the pile
The strongest matches rise to the top of a ranked pile your recruiters review first. Prescreener never auto-rejects, it ranks and flags candidates for review, and your team makes every decision.
In depth
Apploi pricing, segment by segment and source by source
How much does Apploi cost?
Apploi does not say. apploi.com/pricing shows four segment tabs, each with a pricing basis and a line that combining two or more products, such as Apploi Hire and Apploi Onboard, saves money. There is no dollar figure, no per-unit rate, no plan name and no trial. Every tab leads to a demo or quote request, and TrustRadius records that Apploi lists no pricing plans and offers no free version or trial.
So the figures in circulation fall into two groups, and they deserve very different weight. Apploi itself publishes the unit each segment is priced on, which is genuinely useful when you model growth. Directory sites publish estimates. SoftwareFinder puts the start at $300 to $750 a month based on what it calls industry benchmarks, plus implementation of $500 to $5,000, and names no Apploi source for either. Vendr has no Apploi page, so there is no buyer-reported contract median to quote.
| Source | What it says about Apploi cost | How far to trust it |
|---|---|---|
| apploi.com pricing page | Four segments, each priced on its own unit, all Get a quote | Primary source for the pricing basis. Silent on cost |
| apploi.com pricing page | Combining two or more products saves | Primary, but no discount figure |
| TrustRadius listing | No pricing plans listed, no free version or trial | Consistent with Apploi's own page |
| SoftwareFinder listing | Estimated start of $300 to $750 a month | Low. Benchmark estimate, no Apploi source |
| SoftwareFinder listing | Implementation $500 to $5,000, sponsored jobs $100 to $5,000+ a month | Low. Useful only as a checklist of cost lines |
| Vendr marketplace | No Apploi page | No buyer-reported data available |

Apploi pricing by care setting
The unit Apploi prices on changes with the kind of care you deliver, and so does the product mix shown on each tab. Facility-based operators, meaning assisted living, senior living and skilled nursing, are priced by location and see Apploi Schedule offered next to Hire and Onboard. Home health agencies are priced by the number of aides, with a distinction between franchise and non-facility-based agencies. ABA and behavioral health practices are priced by the number of BCBAs. On the home health and behavioral health tabs, the products shown are Hire and Onboard only.
Each unit tracks a different growth pattern. A per-location price is flat inside a building and jumps when you open or acquire one. A per-aide price rises with every caregiver you add, which is the whole point of a recruiting push. A per-BCBA price moves with clinical supervisors rather than RBTs, so a practice that hires many technicians under a few BCBAs pays on the smaller number. Before the call, write down your count of each unit today and where you expect it in twelve months.
| Care setting | Apploi pricing unit | Products shown on the tab | What moves your bill |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assisted and senior living | Number of locations | Hire, Onboard, Schedule | Opening or acquiring a community |
| Skilled nursing facility | Number of locations | Hire, Onboard, Schedule | Adding a facility |
| Home health care | Number of aides, franchise or non-facility based | Hire, Onboard | Every aide added to the roster |
| ABA and behavioral health | Number of BCBAs | Hire, Onboard | Adding clinical supervisors, not RBTs |

What Apploi Hire, Onboard and Schedule include
Apploi sells three products. Hire is the applicant tracking side: posting once to many job boards, workflow automation for outreach, interview scheduling, offer letters and background checks, and recruiting dashboards. Onboard handles digital onboarding and ongoing license verification, which checks credentials and vaccinations and alerts your team before they expire, a requirement Apploi ties to CMS compliance. Schedule builds rotations, broadcasts open shifts across full-time, per diem and agency staff, and shares staff across locations.
The pricing page says that combining two or more products saves money, without saying how much. Treat that as a negotiating point rather than a discount you can model. Ask for each product priced on its own and then as a bundle, so you can see what Onboard or Schedule actually adds and whether you would buy it if hiring were already solved.
| Product | What it covers | Question for the quote |
|---|---|---|
| Apploi Hire | Job distribution, workflow automation, interview scheduling, offers, background checks, dashboards | Is sponsored job spend billed through Apploi or by each board |
| Apploi Onboard | Digital onboarding, ongoing license and vaccination verification | Is license verification priced per check or included |
| Apploi Schedule | Shift rotations, open-shift broadcast, cross-location staff sharing | Offered on facility tabs only, so is it available to home health |
| Bundle | Two or more products | The price of each product alone and together, in writing |

Does Apploi use AI to screen applicants, and does it cost extra?
Yes, Apploi markets several AI features under the name Apploi AI. Its AI chatbot contacts applicants right away, screens them and auto-schedules an interview when they fit. An AI interviewer can then place a voice call at the scheduled time and run the interview. Candidate Matching highlights applicants who meet the qualifications you set, and Candidate Rediscovery shows an AI summary of how well a past applicant fits an open role. Apploi's ROI calculator lists AI Candidate Screening and Scheduling as its own line next to the core platform.
What Apploi does not publish is whether those AI features are in every contract or priced as an add-on, and that ROI calculator treating AI screening as a separate module is a reason to ask. Also note what each feature acts on. The chatbot and AI interviewer screen through a conversation the applicant completes. Candidate Matching highlights fits against your criteria. None of the pages describes a written explanation of why one applicant ranks above another. If your bottleneck is reading resumes and answers, our guide to how AI resume screening works explains the difference.
| Screening task | Apploi | Prescreener |
|---|---|---|
| What the AI evaluates | A chatbot conversation or voice interview, plus matches against set qualifications | The application and resume as submitted |
| Output per applicant | Match highlight, AI summary for past candidates, scheduled interview | Role-fit score plus written reasons |
| Orders the whole pile | Not described | Full ranking of every applicant |
| Knockout rules | Qualifications you set | Applied the same way to every applicant |
| AI priced separately | Not published, ROI calculator lists it as its own module | Included in every plan |
| Published price | No | $199, $499, $1,290 a month, or half billed yearly |

What to budget for a year of Apploi
Because no rate is published, the honest way to budget is to price every line the quote can contain and ask for each one in writing. The table below runs the only range in circulation, SoftwareFinder's $300 to $750 a month estimate, over a year. It has no Apploi source, so treat it as an order of magnitude for a single entry contract, not a figure to put in a budget.
Then compare it with the job you are actually trying to do. If onboarding and scheduling already run fine and the problem is that clinical applications arrive faster than your team can read them, a screening layer that ranks every applicant costs $1,188 a year on Prescreener Starter billed yearly, for up to 1,000 applicants a month. The ATS pricing comparison lists every system that does publish a rate.
| Line | Monthly | One year | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apploi, low end of third-party estimate | $300 | $3,600 | SoftwareFinder, unsourced |
| Apploi, high end of third-party estimate | $750 | $9,000 | SoftwareFinder, unsourced |
| Implementation | One time | $500 to $5,000 | SoftwareFinder, unsourced |
| Prescreener Starter, any number of locations | $99 billed yearly | $1,188 | Published, up to 1,000 applicants a month |
| Prescreener Growth | $249 billed yearly | $2,988 | Published, up to 5,000 applicants a month |

Apploi vs Prescreener, which fits your care team?
Apploi is built for healthcare employers and says it is trusted by more than 9,000 healthcare facilities. If you run senior living communities or skilled nursing facilities and want hiring, onboarding, license tracking and shift scheduling on one login, it deserves a quote. Operators comparing it with other hourly platforms should also read Workstream pricing and Hireology pricing.
Prescreener does one job. It reads every inbound application, applies your knockout and eligibility rules, such as an active CNA certification or a clean driving record for home visits, scores role-fit and ranks the pile with a written reason for each applicant, next to whatever ATS you run. It fits best when the hours go into reading applications rather than scheduling shifts. See how it handles clinical roles on healthcare hiring screening.

Learn moreWorkstream pricing
Workstream publishes four plans and no prices. Every card on its pricing page ends in Get in touch, and its own blog says the quote follows location count, headcount and modules. The one dollar figure Workstream has printed itself is a negotiated $50 per location a month for A&W franchisees. Here is each figure graded, what each plan includes, and what it costs to rank applicants without a new platform contract.
Learn moreHireology pricing
Hireology publishes no price. Its own packages page names two plans, Core and Perform, and puts every AI feature that reads applicants on Perform. The $249 and $499 figures you see quoted belong to plan names Hireology no longer sells. Here is what each plan includes, what the one published rate ($3 per AI Interview over the cap) means, and what it costs to have applicants ranked without a new ATS contract.

CareerPlug publishes no rate on its website. Its help center names three plans, Limited, Hire and Grow, and spells out the billing terms, and the only dollar figure in circulation is a third-party estimate of about $50 per location a month. Here is what is stated, what is guessed, and what CareerPlug's screening actually does with an applicant.
